Executive Administrator – Loans 

The Executive Administrator will support the relationship between various teams within the business, managing communications between the Commercial, Credit and Loan Management and build relationships with companies enquiring for business loans. The candidate must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner and have a diligent approach to their work load.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Client performance reports on a monthly basis to be reviewed by Loan Management 
  • Work with the Commercial team to process initial loan applications and take the Client through the onboarding process 
  • Assist the Commercial team with the collection of documentation for new business borrowing 
  • Assist Loan Management and Clients with the collection of documentation through the refinance loan process 
  • Prepare Client Agreements, necessary banking documentation and process due diligence checks on potential Clients 
  • Monitor Client payment schedules 
  • Maintain contacts through the CRM database 
  • Manage Clients through the CRM system 
  • Assess Client needs, manage each individual account and provide assistance with all aspects of their loan facility 
  • Maintain monthly monitoring procedures of each Client for their outstanding loan 
  • Maintain and update client account records.

Preferred Qualifications and/or Experience

  • An undergraduate degree (no subject preference);
  • Previous client services and/or an eagerness to launch a career in client relations in a regulated environment; 
  • An ability and desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment; 
  • To be comfortable with change, you will be based at head office (external meeting and travel when necessary); 
  • Be a team player; 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; 
  • Outstanding organisational skills and ability to focus on detail

The Package

  • Entry level starting salary with a regular review;
  • Training: There is a significant ‘leap’ required in learning what we do. You will learn a lot on the job. Specific training will be given on key skills as they are required e.g. Financial, Telephony, Sales;
  • We encourage the undertaking of professional exams (where the qualification is in line with the job role). We believe in investing in our own people and those people growing with ArchOver;
  • Working hours are between Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm;
  • 20 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays;
  • For each year worked at ArchOver you will receive an extra day’s holiday, this is capped after 5 years of service.

Credit Analyst

The Credit Analyst will join the Credit team to onboard UK based SME’s looking to borrow working capital for their business. The Analyst will collate the necessary financial information and take the Client through the Credit process, produce a summary report and prepare a presentation for the Credit Committee to review. The candidate must be a team player, have excellent analytical and communication skills, a good telephone manner and have a diligent approach to their work load.

Core Responsibilities

  • From lead generation by the Commercial team you will liaise with the Regional Director
    to complete a successful handover of the Client once the Client is appropriate to be
    passed to the Credit team
  • Review and understand the Commercial paper prepared by the Regional Director
  • Analyse the financial information of the Clients past financial performance
  •  Understand the Clients relationships with their Customers
  • Analyse the Churn data of the Client customer base
  • Review the relevant security requirements that the loan will be leveraged against
  • Review a sample of Client contracts with their Customers
  • Obtain market knowledge of the sector that the Client is operating in
  • Test and review the Client financial model through the relevant Credit application tools
  • Review insurance documents which the Client may have in place
  • Review additional insurance requirements that the Client may require depending on the type of service ArchOver are facilitating
  • Analyse background information of the management team
  • Prepare a Credit Paper with summary and conclusion of the Borrowing requirements, for review by the Head of Credit
  • Prepare Credit Presentation for the Credit Committee
  • Communicate with the Regional Director throughout the Credit Analysis of the Client
  • Debrief with the Regional Director following the Credit Committee decision
  • Successful Clients will continue to Market and Advertise on the ArchOver platform
  • Assist Loan Management in preparing the project for the platform
  • Prepare monthly analysis on the Credit pipeline
  • Arrange and attend six monthly site visits at the Clients offices, perform testing on the
    relevant security requirements to support the loan

Preferred Qualifications and/or Experience

  • An undergraduate degree (no subject preference);
  • Previous underwriting experience or similar experience in a regulated environment
  • Ideally a ACCA/ACA/CFA or equivalent qualifications
  • An ability and desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
